The Spa Casino

Gunbridge Bells' lavish and grand gambling establishment, located at the very end of Pantiles Market. The casino was built on the former site of an ugly 1970s office building, which was bought and immediately demolished by the casino owners. The name of course, is derived from the underground Spa river which enters the town directly below the building. The casino was constructed in traditional 1700s Gunbridge Bells style, and the interior reflects this as well. The staff also dress in authentic 18th century clothing. Smooth Ventures Ltd., the owners, won a Civic Society award in 2007 for the project.

The Spa is enormously popular and is a great tourist attractor.
