Originally called Church Canal, this beautiful naturally lit waterway was re-named in 2003, after American architect, Leroy Norwood was brutally murdered in the tunnel. A well-loved local figure, Norwood was famous for designing and overseeing the construction of The Pinnacle hotel and St Johns Cavern Park.
